Fuel Filter???
I want to replace the Fuel Filter on my rig and I want to see I have the right procedure in mind: SO I have to loosen both clamps on the sides of the filter...then DO I RE-tighten them around the hoze so no fuel spurts out, or is there no need for closing the hozes before putting a new filter in??? I worry that once i open the clamps and pull the filter off without retightening, a @%*# load of fuel is gonna birst out...

Fuel Filter???
I tried to change my fuel filter this am and it was a mess. I got a 1993 F150, I took both of the clamps off on each side and it was hard to pull each end off, turns out there are all sorts of washers in each end of the lines. I'm going to cut those off, splice in new line and go buy some small hose clamps and connect it that way. Pain in the wazooo..... Do you just have regular hose clamps?

Fuel Filter???
You know what...? I wrote that before looking at the filter. It is a little tiny brass thing. Doesn't even look like a filter. It was really to replace. It is in the Carb. I guess yours is the newer fuel injector ones...
