I've seen shims pop up in threads in the past. You might have extras made also. I'm sure in the future other FTE'rs will need 'em.

So I've been doing some research and from what I've found, my '69 F100 has an axel housing thickness of 3.5". Can anyone verify that or am I looking in all the wrong places? My truck isn't in my driveway so I can't exactly go outside and check myself
