Looking for Parts - '74 LN700
Hello everyone, thanks to several of our members I have gotten my truck up and running good. The brakes are still "soft" but operate fine, the 2 speed was working yesterday(have not checked today.. lol) and the main hydraulic cylinder is heading to be rebuilt Monday.
What I am in need of "today" (joke) is a complete air breather for the 361 2V engine... if anyone has one used I live @ 45623 (S. Ohio)...
Please let me know as I don't want to damage engine as it has nothing over the carb presently...
Thanks in advance,
Fordman1965

[QUOTE=dmanlyr;14263927]There are a couple of complete factory units on ebay, both oil bath types.

Thanks, I have no idea if this was supposed to be oil bath or dry filter. I went ahead and purchased a 65-67 F-600 oil filter and it came today. It is an oil bath type, I hope it is the right one. I cannot find anything for the LN700 or at least parts are scare.
Do you know which parts cross from varies years and models?
Appreciate your help!

I am not sure what parts interchange, all I know is that a particular line of engines, in this case the FT line use a lot of common parts.
Same with the transmissions, and other drive train parts, again many common parts, although like everything, there may be detail differences. The devil they say is in the details!
Truck line specific items like frames, radiators, hoods, fenders, interior trim and such are pretty much tuck line specific I have found.
Number Dummy is the expert when it comes to parts!
