Compressor problem
I have a 1986 f150 5.0 engine. I want to change compressors, the one I have now is a tecumseh HR 980 compressor. This type seems to be uncommon. Can I put a different type compressor on my truck and what type can I use? Will I have to change any thing else? Thank You, Bill

Most of them are kind of specific to the vehicle. As long as the lines will hook back up correctly and it fits in your brackets, you should be able to use whatever will fit.
