clutch adjustment
1984 F150 351 W, I remember reading about adjustment of clutch but can not find it. Installed new clutch, 11 inch with new plate, bearing and slave unit. The clutch engages as soon as petal starts to come up. I had air in system but that problem was solved when I ajusted the push rod, made it shorter under dash. I need to know if the adustment will help with petal. Should it be longer or shorter. My adjustment made rod about 1/8 shorter. when I did it.

I put it back to were it was. The clutch still grabs at the very bottum. I will drive for a while to see if it changes.
If it is not adjustable why is there the adjustment screw available?
