back to black
found some old "black chrome" stuff on my shelf and decided to give it a try.
we'll see how it looks after a week of baking in the sun and dusty drylot.
but ... i suppose i'll have to do the other half now.

My old 04 fx4 had all the black pretty much turn white, I've used mothers, and wipe new but neither of them lasted very long. Then I read about using a heat gun and gave it a shot and it lasted much longer. The cowl on the old truck was the worst but a heat gun brought it back and lasted months. I traded it in and the black was still better than when I bought it (it was used). I find most products don't last or even work all that well, but the heat gun melts a layer off it acually worked very well. Just figured I'd throw my 2 cents in.
