i actually remembered your doughnuts dude , but i got bad news . i looked online at mel o creams site , and whilst running errands monday i had the wife stop off at the north grand shop and i asked . according to the ladies at the store they don't make chocolate honeymooners anymore , and i couldn't find anything resembling them on their site . anything else float yer boat from 'em ??????

 

No more chocolate honeymooners? That's sacrilegious! If I still lived 2 blocks from that shop, it would be their top seller! Kevin, I just like to razz you about those donuts, but I do have to admit that I still have crazy cravings. My brother, was in St. Louis last year and ended up driving to Springfield to pick up a couple dozen Mel-O-Creams. He then drove back home to Mt. Vernon(IL). I appreciate the offer, but I really like them fresh. So, the next time I come to town, I'll have to give you a call and we can meet there and I'll pick up the tab ( you'll have to give your self a few more CC's).

I see my oldest friend and college roommate, Jeff Regan, got the write in vote to run for Sheriff up there next November.
