tire pressure

tire pressure

i recently read that front tire should be at 33 psi and rear at 35 psi , for my 1999 expy xlt with 17 in tires is that the same pressure or is it just for 16 in tires

tire pressure

If you have standard load (113S) tires in the 265/70-17 size, then 33 front and 35 rear is the best combo for you.

tire pressure

To be honest, I put the max recommended pressure in the rear tires (it should say on the tire itself) and then 4 pounds less than max in the front tires. You don't get as good of ride, but mileage and wear are your benefits. If you tow, then max pressure in the rear is a must.

tire pressure

I simply follow the manufacturer's recommended pressures posted on the door jamb.
