Question clutch time

Ok guys here I go!
I've got the 3 rubber plugs for the top. Pilot bearing, clutch plate, pressure plate, consentric slave cylinder with throwout bearing, and a hydrolic line to slave disconect tool. Outside of the obvious (tranny jack) what am I missing for the complete gig? Oh, I do have the jack. My truck is an F150 w/a Mazda 5 speed 1wd ( I stilll need trac-loc)

Hey Dude,
Just mentioning a few things you may want to consider. You probably already allowed for these, but since I didn't hear them mentioned.

1. Clutch Alignment Tool.

2. Pilot bearing puller, to remove the old one.

3. Torque Wrench.

4. Polyurathane Tranny mounts.

5. A long pointed punch, to assist in lining thngs up/aligning bolt holes, when reinstalling the Bell Housing/Tranny.

6. Starter?

7. Resurface FlyWheel?

8. FlyWheel ring gear? (if applicable).

9. Jack Stands, don't rely on the Jack alone.

10. Protective Eye Wear.

11. Patience, Band Aids, French Dictonary, and Hand Cleaner.

Here's a few more things I found helpful:

- Very long socket extension for removing and reinstalling the bellhousing bolts

- Air tools will save you a lot of time!

- Loc-tite for sealing threads

- A hardhat. (No joke, I impaled my scalp on one of the many screws protruding through the floorboards. Yikes!)

- Definitely resurface the flywheel

- You may need a particular socket for the driveshaft bolts. Mine weren't hex-headed, and they were GLUED on! (Again, air wrench to the resue...)

- Lots(!) of patience...

- Oh yeah, I replaced my rear main seal, for good measure.

Hey I used 7/16 inch bolts that had the heads cut off there about 3 inches long THESE are the thing that will make the job easyest . Put them in the back on the sides of the block and then slide the tranny onto these , makes it alot better

I got it down and out! I've got the bearing puller and all the other stuff needed except the 7/16 bolts. The right side gusset is a REAL bugger! I hope I can get it back on. The flywheel's going to be done in a couple hours and it is hot out there. We're do to get into the upper 90's today. The bad news is the seals in the tranny jack are just about crapped out. I hope it gets it back up one more time.
Thanks for the input guys. I'm going with the 11" thanks to you fellas. Wish me luck.

I like it HOT so that would be good for me. My bolts had metric head and standard threads ,thats why I used 7/16 bolts and it did make it much easyer

mine've got another thread size. 7/16 don't fly. Mine've got mm heads and mm threads. The 11" pressure plate hardware are 3/8-16 though. 7/8 is stock. 1" comes from Westlake and works fine. Reassembly's coming at daybreak. 105 heat index is too damn much for this ole boy. It was 82f at daybreak! Ya gotta love Missouri weather. We also get down to -15f.
