need 300 engine

I have a 76 f100. I need an engine and transmission. The engine has a hole in the side. I would like a rebuilt 300 engine and a 4 speed transmission. I am in California, so it has to be smogged. Any suggestions who could help with this.

If you currently have a 300 I6 and it is calf. emissions compliant then transfer the emissions stuff to your new motor .. The transmission is a NP 435 4 spd. more then likely .. What transmission is currently in the truck?

A reman longblock from NAPA looks like a good option. ~$1550 with your existing external parts.

It's a 3 speed that was on the column, changed to the floor. Would like to go to one place to get both, so I am sure it will work..
