first inline six build in progess!

1985 300ci build in f150. Planning a mild head and valvetrain job, a comp 268 cam set Along with new rockers componets. Valves are a question at this point?? Any prederred among others? Also thinking either hedmans or efis not positve yet. The auto lite 4100, whats the summit carb like this? Its gonna be on top a offy dp. Electric fuel pump and fan. prolly a bigger alternater to. Distibutor choice is up in the air as well dsp2 or DUI. If someone can flow some info my way on the 2 idistribs that would be swell. PARTS PARTS PARTS! And to post pictures i do what?

Check out the stickys. Theres a lot of info you need there. Read the tips and tricks here and in the Bullnose section. All the info is here, you just have to look for it.
I'm in the process of doing some similar mods to my truck. Offy C with Autolite 2100, EFI manifolds and Walker Y pipe. I got side tracked once I pulled the old stock manifolds. The block was greasy, so I cleaned it, and now I'm trying to get a little paint back on it before a put everything on. I picked up studs to replace the old bolts, Mr. Gasket #260 gasket as well as fabbed up a hot water heat plate so the motor will run right. I'm also planning to run a 130 amp alt off a Taurus, so I can run an elec fan and inverter.

RST, do you have any pics of your setup you would mind sharing with us? Would be interested in seeing your setup all bolted together and how you have your throttle and choke linkage attached.

I actually took some this weekend, have to figure out how to post them. I fabricated a bracket for the stock throttle cable, it's not perfect, but I think it will work. I used the heat plate bolts to bolt it to the intake. My carb has a cable choke, so I'm just going to mount a chock cable under or in the dash, and run it through the firewall. PM me your email, and I'll send you pics of what I've done so far.
