Not sure if you all have seen this yet but I'm usually on the 57-60 and 73-79 section. But what in the name of god was this guy thinking.... poor truck deserved a better owner
Man, you are dead right about the poor thing.
The caption at the bottom says "Okay.... Its time to let go."
Well, it's time for me to let go...anyone got a bucket?
I shouldn't say that. I should say, "Hmmm. It IS original. And someone has put in a tremendous amount of work...you just have to ask...BUT WHY?"
I do think that chandelier hanging off the ceiling is, however, very funky!
Let's see, needs just a 'little' work...some 'finishing touches' like....
Replace the entire front end, replace rear fenders, replace drive train, replace steering column, replace both bumpers, replace mirrors, replace the wheels, dump the 'spot lights', scrap the chrome trim on the box, scrap the tonneau cover and the spoiler, rip out that carpet or whatever it is on the inside of the bed walls and tailgate and finally gut and replace entire interior.
Mickey mouse is right . At least he's not using the term "rat rod." What's up with the porthole.?
Ah, it's a mad, mad, mad, mad, mad world. Ain't this country great?
He did an amazing amount of work on that thing, probably has too much time on his hands. It is probably some kind of disorder that he has, but it is his truck. He may end up keeping it, not so sure anybody would pay 15K for it...
Ha, this reminds me of the beginnings of the abortions thread on a vw forum I frequent! Look up snorkelstang! It has a serious cult following in the vw community.
My instant reaction after noticing the green paint was, "so what's the issue?" then I saw the front end. I'm still looking for something cool to put in the front end of my truck, but that is definitely not on the list. I bet the second gas tank might have something to do with that huge Caddy motor.
I can see the guy really loves his truck, and Im happy for him.
But honestly I would rather help Bob J's son pull his tractor from the muck then be seen sitting in that amalgamation.
