Here's an odd one.

Maybe you guys can figure this one out, it's a head scratcher to me.

No idea what it is. Maybe someone with experience in working in a fuel pump rebuild shop can recognize it.

Would this help? There is a Picture how u connect it, so I would say u connect it in between the ip and injector, unscrew the bolt so it fills with diesel fuel, make sure it is full and then tighting the lever as it has a mesure nonius on it. As the liquid is incompresible. I guess u use the ip as a pump and this device as a presure set valve. There is non information on it even on German web.
