I have a 1992 ford explorer that has a vibration at 55-65mph. I have tried several things to remedy this problem some of which include: radius arm bushings, wheel alignment, tires and shocks. I heard from someone that there maybe a service bulletin on this problem that tells you to change a part on the transmission. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a 1991 Explorer and have the vibration problem when it goes into O/D . I have had my transmission serviced and they say it is a missfire from the engine. I have changed the plugs and wires and checked for spark coming from the ignition coil pack but have had no luck. I have made an appointment with the dealer for next week to see if they can locate the problem.

My 94 was shuddering in od at highway speed and it turned out to be burned vacume line. The A4LD Trans is supper sensitive to vacume it gets from the motor (Diaphragm on side of Trans is activated by manifold vacuum)
I replaced the line and shifted like new. I wonder if the injector cleaning actually corrected a vacuum problem by making the motor run properly.
