Transmission rear seal replacement

Floyd has a 4 speed transmission.

I bought a new rear seal. I wonder if I remove the parts where the drive shaft connects, which I assume will give me access to the seal, will I ever get all the parts back where they came from.

The guy at NAPA was kind enough to show me which side of the seal goes toward the engine.

I looked at the parts breakdown of my manual and that made my angst increase 10 fold.

My mechanical skills are about 7-8 on scale of 10 with 10 being really good.

Thank you Bill. On the parts breakdown the big collar on the back of transmission (item #2614) is not on my transmission. Would the rest of the parts shown before that item be the same on mine?
