1969 Transmission

1969 Transmission

In high school I had a 69' F100 with a 302. It had a 3 speed MT transmission w/o overdrive. I used to thrash that thing and it was tough as nails, it seemed. I can't figure out what transmission it was. I am building a Model A with a 302 and I would like to run the same combo, can you help me figure out what I had.

1969 with a 302 would have been one of three tag numbers.
F100..300,302,360 with 114" w.b.....Ford-M/D...tag #RAT-G1
F100/F250 300,302,360 (except 4x4) with 131" W.B. ..Ford M/D...tag #RAT-H1 & #RAT-J1.
Also F250 6 and 8 cyl. with 4X4.......Ford M/D.....above tags.

Three different M/T's were used in 1969 F100's with 302's.

Warner T-85N 3 M/T with O/D / Warner T-18 4 speed.

Since the OP says it was a 3 M/T without O/D:

Ford type 3.03 3 speed manual all syncromesh trans, used 1963/87 in a gazillion FoMoCo vehicles.

Doesn't matter what the wheelbase is (length of the output shaft and extension housing), since it's being installed in a Model A.
