I'd rather buy one that need a resto. Although I think in the long run one that is already done would cost less.

I'd only be interested in a full restoration if I had time, money, and space. Right now I'd much prefer a 75% complete truck.

It's crazy how much a simple tailpipe that actually exits outside the truck changes the interior noise level.

Yes, muffler location can be a factor as well.

300 six with split headers to 2 1/4" piping to a Flowmaster Super 44 with a 2.5" tailpipe that's just a 90 out to the side.
