Doing that seems reasonable to me, considering the amount of metal shavings that are visible in that picture.
Sorry you're having to go through this now... I know there's never a "convenient" time for this sort of stuff, but there are times when it's easier to pay for.
Unable to get a new hub as it turns out I have an obsolete Hadco axle. So now I am looking for the correct size studs and lugnuts. They are 1/2 by 20 but nobody seems to have an exact fit. I tried Autozone, O'Reilly's and Pep Boys, and even Redneck Trailer Supply. Will try Napa tomorrow as well as a local tire/wheel shop and see if I can get lucky. Otherwise, I will have to buy a whole new axle (that they can get parts for)
Scott wakey wakey I have a question for ya. Can I plug my SCII into my 7.3? Pretty simple. I thought I read somewhere about guys moving them about. Anyway I`ll swing by if you are still in the hood. Doing a job in Pleasanton that I put 800lbs of self level yesterday and probaly 300lbs this morning. Why the hell did peeps pour concrete on raised elevations I will never know. Sorta like 4'OC 1-1/8" subs
Happy Monday Nor Cal FTE and friends. I hope everyone is having a better day than I am. LOL.
Going to have to buy a whole new axle since I cannot get anything for the old one. Turns out it is an old military axle that has not been made for several decades. Luckily the guy who wants to buy my Jag can pay me $250 today, so that will cover the cost of the axle and leave me some money left over for gas.

There's a trailer shop in San Jose that could have what your looking for we are trying to find the receipts and number for you I want to say the name is denalis but not sure , don't do anything drastic until I find the correct guy.
Too late, already ordered an axle for the trailer. $189.69 gives me everything, including the u bolts, and nuts, and they will even weld the spring perches onto it. It should be here tomorrow afternoon. So I should be able to get everything back together by tomorrow evening, and be ready to head up to Chico early Thursday morning.
