48 F1

I stopped at a local tire shop today , and a couple of guys came over to look at my panel . One older man asked if I had any interest in a 48 F1 . I said not really , that it would depend on price . He said $10.000, thinking he was another guy who watches to much Barrette - Jackson I declined . Then he started telling me about the truck . Well I ended up going and looking at it . Story is guy that was building it died and the widow sold it to this guy , with it came recites for over $15.000 in parts . The new owner is 78 and in declining health , now wants to get his $ out of it . Truck is straight , rust free , and very solid . It has new 302 motor, auto trans, disk brake ,with new power master cylinder set up under the floor, new B&M shifter , wheels and tires , glass , carpet , And more . Needs rear shocks , fan shroud , radio , heater , And chrome reinstalled [ he has it ] Interior paint bright red, exterior a dull red not sure if it needs clear or if he was going for the fake patina look . It could be finished easy and cheap . I have no $ in this and can't afford to buy it myself . I have been helped buy guys on this site and now am passing this information on . If you want the sellers info and are serious PM me .
