Do you have to have a chip programmed for your mods? I'm looking at getting either a Hypertech or a Diablo and all I have done is K&N FIP and Magnaflow 3'' exhaust. I'm getting a new coil and wires also. Do I have to have a chip programmed or can I just buy one that fits my truck?

For some modifications, yes. For others, no. See the chip FAQ at http://www.motorhaven.com/Web_store/Html/chipfaq.html for a list.
Intakes and exhausts won't impact it enough to make a difference, even on speed density (unless you make radical changes).
