Me and the kidlets are going out to Colorado to see my folks on the 17th... only for a long weekend though, but that is better than nothing.

Looks like winter might make an appearance later this week:

THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY EVENING. SNOWFALL WILL
PERSIST INTO FRIDAY MORNING WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOW FALLING ON
THURSDAY NIGHT.

* ACCUMULATIONS...5 TO 9 INCHES.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY...NORTH TO NORTHWEST WINDS WILL AVERAGE 25
TO 35 MPH THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING. WINDS OF THESE
MAGNITUDES COULD CAUSE BLOWING SNOW PROBLEMS...REDUCING
VISIBILITIES DOWN TO LESS THAN A HALF MILE.
