Head gasket leak ?
I've got a 1989 Bronco II., V-6, 2.9 Liter, auto trans., 175k, ED edit. I think I might have a head gasket leak or ??? There's oily residue on one side of the engine. And I loose power (dramatically) when driving up hill. There's an oil pressure problem too. When the engine warms up, it makes loud tapping sound. And the oil pressure gauge fluctuates. It drops when idling. Any ideas on what I can do first to get this beast road worthy again ?
