Crew cab doors

I'm restoring an '86 crew cab 4x4. Would all the doors (front & rear) from a '97 crew cab fit my '86?

I may be wrong but I don't think they will because of the set up of the windows on the 86 compared to the 97s.

I've done this swap. I used the 97 windows, but had to do some work to the inside of the shell to make the 86 door panels work. I did this about 15 years ago so I'm not exactly sure what I did, but it is doable.

For the most part, yes. The window motors, trim panels, etc may take a little tweaking or new holes drilled, but for 99% of the piece, all of the doors are identical from 80-96/97.

The 97 is one piece glass that will barely fit in the door vs the 86 was two pieces. I know that it involved some cutting and welding, I'm thinking the inside door handle area is completely different, but it worked out nice.
