I have a 95 F-150, 5.8Litre Auto. Noticed a couple of days ago that the shifter seems sloppy (column). No slop in the cable, plus I've gotta fool with it a little to get it all the way into park. Is there an adjustment that you know of?
Look it up at this link and pull the upper column shroud so you can tighten the U-clamps on the shifter. You may even have to drop the column to get to the front one, but it's really easy, so don't sweat it.
