....After doing my intake, I did get rid of the coolant issue, but now it sounds like I have an exhaust leak coming from the drivers side. All exhaust manifold bolts are there..no leakage at the manifold. I "think" it may be coming from the egr tube where it goes into the ex manifold.....anybody have any luck getting that nut to loosen down on the manifold? The EGR side loosened up real easy...I just moved it away from the EGR when doing the intake.....I think I may have cracked it down on the flange.......
So I searched around a bit and found one of the hoses on the bottom of the DPFE sensor had cracked! So they dont have any slack in them, so I unbolted the sensor and tie wrapped it closer!! No more exhaust noise or smell!! But I took the truck for a ride and it started idleing rough, so I shut it off when I got to my appt, then I came out 30 minutes later.crank crank crank, had to hit the pedal to get it started!!, I drove home the 2 miles and checked codes.....had a pending P1405, I checked the hoses....all is good...does the sensor have to be mounted upright??
