I have an 86 250 and have what looks like bearing grease on my front rim. It is coming from the hub switch cover. Any reason why?
I never had to work in this area, so I don't know why.
Thanks
Loose wheel bearings allowing water contamination on the other end and the heat boiling it, blowing grease out this end.
The least you should do is pull the lock cap and put a new O-ring on it, but you'll have the opportunity to inspect the inside of the hub while you're doing that. Look it up here.
