84 f250 stalling
recently came into owning an 84 f250 with the 351w in it. It sat for about 2 years with close to half a tank of gas in each tank. Replaced the fuel pump and was able to get it started. It would stall out often and wouldnt stay running. decided to drop a tank and empty it out and clean it out to get rid of all the bad gas. finsihed cleaning it and put it back on and put some new gas in it. Went for a test drive and it drove and ran fine. until i started giving it more power and getting up to higher speeds and it would stutter and finally die. it would start right up but as soon as i gave it more power it would stall out and die. if anyone has ever had this problem or knows what the problem might be, any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you still have fuel delivery problems. It can get just enough fuel to idle and rev in the driveway, but when you really need the fuel, it runs out. If you let it idle for awhile, it will probably fill the bowl up in the carb and be fine till you start using the engine. It then starts using the fuel store in the bowl till the bowl runs dry and it quits.
I haven't heard anything about a fuel filter being changed.
