1979 f150, idle problems
My 1979 F-150 Ranger Lariat has a 460 in it. It suddenly started idling very rough. At a stop (and in drive), it will stall out.
Last year I had a similar problem and took it to the shop for repairs. They replaced the spark plugs, wires (they were original to this point), and the distributor. That seemed to resolve the problem until recently.
I checked for a vacuum hose that might have been off but could not find any. When you give it gas you can hear a harsh air sound come from the carberator.
Any tips or ideas would be great. Thanks in advance.
