Do I have too???

I'm looking to put 4" MBRP exhaust on my truck,No cat,Just a muffler.

Do I need to run a tuner with the exhaust for it to run right?

If so,I'm gonna leave the truck stock.I don't want any kind of tuner.

Nope, no tuner needed.

PS - don't bother with a muffler either.

Nope. They bark pretty good if you get on it but around town it is just fine. You hear engine noise more than exhaust idling.

Ok good to hear about the tuner. My truck runs like a top and I don't want to screw it up.It's all stock (motor wise) and I swore I would keep it the way but those damn Youtube video's got the best of me.

For right now I'm thinking muffler.I still gotta tow a trailer lol.

What are you guys running for tips?I was thinking 4" to 5".

Then I gotta figure out black or chrome. My truck is all black with black wheels but for some reason i'm thinking going with a chrome tip,Because the inserts in the wheels are polished and it might go hand in hand.

Been considering an exhaust on mine as well. I too want to go with a muffler because of frequent towing. I am afraid that would get annoying on a long trip. FWIW, I think the chrome tip would look good. I like the all black look on your truck, but with the little bit of polish on the wheels a chrome tip would look good and break up all the black a bit.

I was thinking the same.

I think I will do the chrome tip.It was never my intention to go for the "Murdered out" look but I like black and alot of it.I think the chrome tip would go well with the wheels.

Black looks good on anything! I bought mine used this past summer. It is Arizona Beige, and I really like the color, but if I would have bought new I would have got black, white or silver.

I've got a 5" tip on mine. Looks nice without being obnoxious. Made the tone a bit better also.

Explain this. It looks like an important statement, but I don't understand it.
