Interior Light Question
Hey Guys, First post on here hoping that someone can provide some assistance or suggestions on what to do, In my old truck i had the dial to control the interior lights thus they could be off when the door is open but on my New 2014 F250 I have the rocker and this is not the case. I was wondering if there is anything that i can do to add a switch so that i can kill the interior lights when the doors are going to be open for an extended period of time so that the battery does not drain. I have been reading that i can go to the dealer and have them dark it like a police vehicle so that the lights never come on and this option is not feasible since i routinely take this truck into the city where i want light but when i am fishing or working with the doors open i dont want the lights to be on.

after 3 or 4 minutes of door open the interior lights automatically turn off.
