Thought I'd come back here since these trucks have been on the road longer than the 6.7s. Does anyone have any experience with Bullet Liner. Or better yet someone who has had both bullet and linex. I'm about to get the bed sprayed on my new truck and tryng to decide which would be better. Bullet is closer so that's my lean right now but it's not that much closer. Thanks in advance.
I've never had a Bullet liner, but I've currently have both Line-X in my F350 and Rhino in my Chevy dually. I personally like the Line-X because it is thinner, but harder than the Rhino. The Rhino I have has been in a number of years and and is starting to chalk a bit, but still very protective. I haven't seen a spray in liner that didn't do what it claimed around these parts.
I too have never heard of Bullet liner. I have had Line-X on two trucks now it has held up far better than a neighbors Rhino. I also live near an army base and know that the military vehicles are getting Line-X'd there due the anti-ballistic qualities it imparts. Check out the Myth Busters video
Line-X is really tough stuff for sure. Oh, and Line-X has a lifetime warranty that is honored at any Line-X dealer across the US and they are everywhere. I could not find Bullet anywhere close to me and looking at their map, there are not any in the "fly over" states.
Bullet on my 2017 great application all edges cut with Wire installed on edges cleanest install I've seen. Super Hard works great, looks great taking in my 2019 in the morning for Bullet the best there is.
