probably a simple question but ive always had stock wheels.
I want some new wheels and dont know what im doing with the manual locking hubs. Can i just remove those and leave them open and cover with a new wheels?
If you are referring to the transmission, it would work, but if you remove the hubs, you won't have 4wd. You need to have them to engage the hub to the axle. The wheel covers won't seal the hubs up either.
As to wheels, you need some that fit F series from 97 and newer.
