Mine is the Con-Fer kit, that I had installed at a local 4WD shop. It makes a huge difference in the ride, and raised the front of the truck 3.25". I recommend it.
Since I have air bags in the front, my installation was a little different. My shocks mount to plates that are attached to the air bags. I didn't have to replace the shocks, but I did have to put a 2" spacer under the plate. Most people do need to replace the shocks, I hear.
The install was about $400.
Wow, Confer is proud of their kit, $630. Did you get it from a retailer that was cheaper. Otherwise, I'll have to look into the offroadunlimited version.
I've been on the fence between keeping the Edlebrocks or trying the 9000x 's ...
Brian, I'm sorry I missed your previous post. I got mine through Billy Bob's 4WD in Puyallup, but they've got shops up and down the west coast. There's probably one in Portland.
If I'm not mistaken, when I got mine last November, the guy told me that I just beat a price increase on the kit, so maybe you've found someone who has one from before the increase.
Good luck with it. You'll love the new ride, and 3" of lift ain't bad, either.
(P.S. I don't make it around to all the message boards as frequently as I'd like, so if you've got a question for me specifically, shoot me an email. I always get to those.)
