I have a 1997 F-350 diesel that blows the #9 powertrain control system fuse under the hood.
I disconnected the PCU, IDM, and two more plugs right there in that same corner that also require a 10mm socket to get them unplugged.
I reconnected the smallest one closest to the motor.... did not blow the fuse.... disconnected it again and reconnected the bigger one (the big one right next to the PCU).... BLEW the fuse....
Is there any specific place I can start looking for a short going off of this info.?
Thank You,
