So the bed on my 66 that I am building has severe rot where the bed floor meets the forward bulkhead of the bed, including the forward most cross support underneath.
The truck is a 66 2wd long bed fleetside.
So the question is, does any one know if the later trucks 67-79 or even later hae the same floor profile with regards to the hills and valleys staped into the bed?
Could I cut out the front 6 inches of a bed from a later truck and have it line up with the 66 bed.
If it is not going to line up then the other option would be to find an entire long bed from a later truck and graft in the entire floor.
Just trying to keep my options open
