97 expedition starting issue

97 expedition starting issue

Driving and doing errands all day yesterday with no issues. Last store we stopped at when we went to leave car would not start. Lights radio and dash lights all work. But when I turn key to crank nothing not even the starter clicking no sounds at all. Any opinions on what it could be?

Did you try starting in in neutral or just park?

Just park...I am thinking it might be the starter solenoid?

Remove and clean (wire brush) your battery cables and posts before you spend $$.
