I sold my 13 F150 to go with a 14 F250. Love the truck and it was exactly the way I wanted..Right out the gate I had a few issues, took it to buying dealer after local dealer, downplayed the parts as normal.. they weren't and dealer replaced and fixed issue, now I have 2 issues they either cant fix or wont fix.. first is a dry bushing sound out of the front end when I am turning and bounce up/down you hear the rubbing sound,,they say they cant find it even though mechanic road with me and heard the sound..Second is the nasty vibration at 1200 rpm's in 6th gear, the truck hops/bounces bad enough to be concerned and yet both dealers say there is no FORD bulletin on it..So I am the un-lucky guy with the only vibration in his truck..BS..double BS. I had this same vibration in the F150..Seems to be consistent in there long bed trucks..I don't know why. But neither dealer seems to interested in finding a fix..I know some guys here have great dealers and they take care of you. I am riddled with crap dealers and it seems the service ends at the sale. I blame FORD. There corporate treatment of there dealers/warranty work has forced many dealers to try an avoid it due to financial loss. After seeing countless bad PR on tv from manufactuers I am convinced there putting out crap w/issues and they know it..2 New Ford's in last year and both have issues. I believe its the crappy QC at the factory that is the cause of both my issues, lazy overpriced UAW workers who f'up our trucks and dealers left to take the loss on the back end..Sorry the long rant but you know how it goes..
the dry bushing your hearing is normal, its the advance-trac and the abs over-correcting. mine has done it since new and 10,000 miles later I just assume its normal.

I don't believe its the Advance trac making the noise, it does it at slow speeds,,it is extremely annoying. just sad todays mechanics, even after hearing the noise several times on the trip cant find whats wrong.
You can easily check if it's the advancetrac causing some of nouse; just shut it off and see if it goes away.
I have a 2011 f350. When I go around a bumpy corner, the advancetrac kicks in and I get annoying noises from the from end. I pretty much always shut off the advancetrac now
so your saying pushing the button on the dash and turning off the traction control button has something to do with the front end noises? I guess it cant hurt to try but my old 02 SD started making these same noises when I traded it in,, to me it sounds like worn out or dry rod/boot somewhere, there sure are enough of them on the front end of this truck..
I know nothing about the vibration, I just heard this in my travels. Someone had their driveshaft balanced and it took care of the vibs. Apparently they are 2 piece on the long beds and are not running true at higher rpm's. This could be true or bs.
What I find amazing is all of you who are saying about advance trac noises and don't complain about it. Mine must do it a lot worse than yours because it is nearly everytime I turn or hit a bump and sometimes in a straight line and Ford won't do **** about it. They say it is normal. I'm sorry but that isn't supposed to be normal.
Both these issues cannot be normal, the front end noise or the vibration. If this is FORD's engineering then this will be my last FORD truck..I am convinced just like GM, FORD knows the bad parts it puts on its trucks, the bean counters say roll them out and let dealers fix them..Major BS. Cant believe on a 14 I would have either of these issues off the lot..Of course neither of these issues showed themselves during the test drive..
