There's a 76 E150 in our parking lot that's been sitting for a while. I can have it for nothing. I've been contemplating making it a 4x4. Sure would be a blast.
Ask the guy who owns it...he implies stock by saying "VERY RARE !!! ONLY A LIMITED NUMBER OF THESE BABIES WERE PRODUCED ". After all who's truck is stock anymore, mine sure isn't.
I have seen a couple of them here in town in the early eighties. A plumbing contractor I was working with had one. He said he special ordered it with the 4x4 package. I have only seen two tho,in 22 years
Only seen two in 22 years, ha! I must live in a real red neck county because I see at least 3 a day. One guy has 2 on my ussual route, a green one and a brown one.
i know i guy in NJ who had one that he got new. he said the dealer sent it out to get converted. i also have a friend in WA who just got a 30ft E450 class C RV and he is gonna send it out to get converted to a 4x4. it's gonna cost him $9000 to have it done. not bad compared to the $80,000 he paid for the RV.
