2 years ago i picked up a Lincoln 215 powermig with a Magnum PRO 100SG Spool Gun for $800
it has pretty much sat in the garage for 2 years, i have only played with it a few times.
i finally really used it today, and i have no idea how i got any work done with the little 110 firepower mig i have used for the past 30 years.
in 20 minutes i finished a job that would have taken me at least 2 hours with the 100 unit.
Bye the way how do you like the spool gun? I know I personally prefer a Lincoln over a Millermatic. I never had any good luck with the Miller. They seem to be a lot more finicky and require a lot more servicing then a Lincoln.
i have not tried the spool gun yet. i keep on saying i am going to bring the mack tandem over and weld up the steps in the aluminum fuel tanks, but i am old and senile.
so i always forget to do it at the end of the day.
