Caprisecca's 2001 build thread

here is how it was when I got it a couple years ago, and how it sits now.

these are a couple mods ive already done in the past but i'll repost a few pics here.

fixed leaking differential gasket so I painted it to match while I had it off.

it turned out so well I did the rear to but didn't take a pic.

home made body lift gap cover

and here is a few pics of what is to come...

18x9 centerline with 4.5 backspace

lariat captains chairs with center console to replace the xl work bench.

now I cant wait for my wet okole camo seat covers to come in to install them

and of course I had to get the overhead console while at the parts truck

always been a fan of the billet grilles

some led's to go behind the grille

and some 06 Harley headlights

more to come...

got more done today. took off the bug deflector and the brush guard. got the billet grill in and the 05 Harley headlights in it looks a lot cleaner now.

and here it is after the headlight swap

here's the overhead console painted to match and installed. it was a little nerve racking cutting a hole in my roof interior.

got some tuff led lights for the rear to. ive always wanted to do something like this but gotta give props to grimreaper for the motivation in this one.

and here it is at night

that's most of it for now. at least till I get my seat covers in. then I can do the seat swap. ill post plenty of pics of that when the time comes. lemme know what you guys think.

got my seat covers in, installation was easy fitment was great and they look great. I would definitely recommend wet okole seat covers. that being said here are some before and after pics

btw for those of you still in a xl truck. the captain chair swap is a definite upgrade it completely changes the feel of the truck. I also got my new to me used rims on with some new rubber.

I haven't put many miles on them yet but road noise is minimal and feel much better than my bald toyo's. I got these for free so I though I would throw them on there not sure which I like better

the problem is the doors don't wanna open very well. the fitment is poor but I do like the look. and just for fun here is a couple more

how do those wet okole seat covers feel? do they slide around? or do they feel like part of the seat?

Thanks. They r not that bright for the front of the truck I was a little dissapointed but oh well. They would work out great for the bed or a tool box type thing

They feel great. I don't slide around and they almost look like a factory option.
