Hi,
If you got a power seat base of a complete seat from a salvage yard.
Would wiring it up, just be a matter of running a hot wire to the switches?
I figure someone has done this before.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a lot more to it than that. Since the power seats tend to also have memory options as well it is likely all run by the BCM.
The wiring might already be there. Ford has been getting better in recent years with using the same harness with every truck and just plugging in the options as needed. Any unused plugs are secured in a hidden place in case you want to add things later.
