I just picked up some new brake drums for the rear of my truck. I noticed that the new drums have the balancing weights already on them. Do I have to do anything else except just put them on?
I bought a '66 Mustang from a "mechanic" that I worked with. He said he just put all new brakes on the car. It didn't stop well so I decided to take a look. The shoes were wrong on all 4 wheels. If I recall, he had the primary and secondary shoes backwards on both front wheels, both primaries on the left rear and both secondaries on the right rear. It's nice when you buy a vehicle from somebody that knows what they're doing.
