I have the Banks headers and Y-pipe on my '99 F-250. I love them and would buy them again in a heartbeat! They have shifted my power band up a little, but this engine likes to rev anyway. I tow a 30' travel trailer (~9,000 lbs.) and the headers have really improved my performance. The engine is much smoother now when towing; it doesn't "seem" like it is working as hard.
I have Borla Stainless Steel Exhaust system from the headers and back to the tail pipe. I can only describe it as awesome, Perfect fit, no hassle and very easy to install. The Borla exhaust system is not as laud as other exhaust systems but has a nice low to mid rumble sound. My biggest reason for upgrading the factory exhaust system was anti-rust and performance. What's the spec. on the V10? How many ponies?
Have any pictures?
Stock, 310 hp, 425 ft-lbs. All I have added is the BBK throttle body and a Flowmaster 40 muffler. No digital camera, and it never seems to be clean enough for pictures anyway... darn bugs.
The problem I have with Borla is the cost. They are more than twice the cost of other systems with similar performance. Some say you get what you pay for but to me they are to much. Banks is high as well but not nearly as bad as the Borla and it is a proven system as well.
