Haha!!! I'm staying in Phoenix now and we don't need no stinking time change. There aren't many farmers in a desert that would benefit from an extra hour of daylight in 100+ summertime temps I reckon.
No more going to work in the dark and driving home in the dark!
Wow do I 'member those days! Used to work 4 x 10 shifts, start time 6:25am. Dark going in, nearly dark going home---apart from stepping outside for lunch wouldn't see the sun forever it seemed.
Then again had three complete days to do as I liked so it kinda made up for it.
On the switch to DSL---only a few places I noticed weren't opened at their usual start times----either lazy or "forgetful" employees I'm guessing!
I think I've solved the whole DST problem. I'll just set all my clocks 1/2-hour off, in between DST and Standard Time. Then I don't have to reset them twice a year, for half the year they'll be 1/2 hour fast, and the other half they'll be 1/2 hour slow!
I always wanted to have a clock collection but the thought of having to spend a whole day resetting them twice a year just puts me off. This method would solve that...or else I could just move to Arizona.
