Disc Brake Conversion Problem
I'm just finishing up my brakes on the 67 Ranger. I'm having a problem getting any pedal or brakes. The brakes consist of stock rears, 75 Ford front disc setup and prop valve, Master Power brakes booster and MC.
I've bench bled the MC many times and bled the whole system many times as well but no pedal. I have it narrowed down to the front portion. When I block off both MC outlets I get good pedal. When I block off just the front brakes line I still get good pedal so I'm sure it's in the front.
The front brakes do start to grab as I can feel them grab some when the pedal is pushed. I've tried bleeding with the front end jacked up, the rear end jacked up, and with the MC perfectly level to no avail. They do seem to bleed just fine but no pedal.
Has anyone had this problem? I'm thinking it may be possible that the front calipers won't bleed correctly because the bleeder doesn't appear to be at the very top of the cylinder. I'm thinking I may remove the calipers and bleed them in a perfectly upright position using a board or something as a rotor. Does this make any sense?
Maybe I could seperate the lines at the rubber hose, block them off, and see if I have pedal then. That would eliminate anything but the calipers as the problem, right?
Any other ideas? Anyone been though this?
Thanks!

Now that I'm looking at these, is it possible to put the calipers on the wrong side?
Possibly the bleeder would be higher up (a little anyway) if they were on opposite sides. Thanks!

I think that they are on wrong. There is a 'L' cast into the one I have loacted on the drivers side but I still think it's incorrect. Here's two pics of the pass side.

BTW, there absolutly is an 'L' cast into the right side caliper. It's pretty small and obviously doesn't mean 'Left'. So be careful.
