Question 2002 escape wont start

my daughters 2002 6 cyl Ford Escape has had a few issues last week. It was throwing a code p-0320 and then also just stall for no reason at idle mode. Sometimes it would misfire and sorta of run rough a few seconds then get better, then the code would get thrown. History.. the last few months the car has been taking longer to start the car like longer cranking time. It has been getting longer and longer every week. SO.. first thought it was the crank position sensor. Fuel filter was also replaced since it was ready for that anyway. I also replaced the AIH last week since that used to be the fix for the shut off issue and has worked in the past without throwing any code. My question is.. is there a timing belt or chain in this car? Either way it has never been changed and my thought is if it is a belt it is prob way overdue and possible has been slipping causing the longer and longer start times. Now the car barley even starts. just cranks alot. No code either. Anyone have any direction which way to look... thanks Jeff
