V10 running rough

V10 running rough
2001 F250 V10... Had the plugs changed and 3 coils needed to be replaced.. Mechanic took care of it- Was fine for a day now it idles really rough... I called him back and he said- look at the air intake..... When I removed to look at filter etc- it ran better so he said MAF sensors were probably dirty- I cleaned them as best I could (looking at the many videos here and youtube)- Put it back- Runs ok for a short time then goes right back to idling like S*** when stopped- If I take the air intake apart again - she runs better- anything I should check???

air filter is pretty new and clean- it's almost like when mechanic removed air intake- something is ou of whack- I will bring it back to him but wondering if it's something simple since when I open the intake up- it makes a big difference
