Removing oxygen sensor
Okay my buddy has a farm truck never goes on the road just plays with it on the farm, its an 89 F250 4x4 with a 302. he just cut the exhaust in front of the dual cats, now can he remove the oxygen sensor without throwing off the computer? Will this increase his power at all? This truck will never be air cared since its on the farm and we don't have any air care rules anyway. Thanks

Without the 02 sensor input the computer will not be able to adjust the A/F ratio,the truck will run exremely rich.They make 02 sensor bungs that you can weld in the exhaust.
