2007 SCREW 5.4 CEL
Need some thoughts here. Driving home the other day on the interstate with cruise set at 75, outside temp at 9 deg., odometer has 80,000 miles on it. Anyway noticed a jolt and rpm fell to almost nothing then CEL came on. Pulled off the road and engine stopped running. Tried to restart noticed the CEL was flashing 8 times the steady. Would not restart. Checked all the obvious things, fuel pump, fuel pump shut off , oil, wires FPDM, still no start. Had it towed 78 miles to my home. $291 later. Parked it in my shop over night so it could thaw. Next day with scan tool hooked up no codes showing but CEL STILL FLASHING. Truck started and ran fine!!!!!!! What the....? Any ideas?
