1965 f100

hey guys, just bought 1965 f100 styleside and started pulling the 240 inline six and found a 2 inch crack in the block, does anyone know where I can find a 300 or 240cid block or complete motor? tried salvage yards in my area, but to no avail, would like a 1976 or older. also need help with vin plate, what color is L ?any help is appreciated. Vin # is F10JE661445 Thanks
